MDMFA Design Challenges

This design challenge was to reconstruct one of Alexander Girard's prints as a vector file in Adobe Illustrator using the Pen tool. The reason for this design challenge and what was learned was to create repetitive line and color vectors with practice on a template properly in the most simple was to be able to master it being aware of size, color, layers etc.
This design challenge challenged our shape and vector skills. The tedious shape creations and color matching encouraged trail and error, patience and precision. The purpose was to prefect the art of shape and vector creation. I learned the importance of patience and precision throughout this design challenge.
This design challenge was to create a style guide for Locavore Restaurant using a provided template to demand practice in placement, cropping and sizing with provided content.
This design challenge was to create a vector file using the Pen Tool using Alexander Girard's signature. This design challenge challenged our skill and accuracy when using the Pen Tool in Adobe Illustrator.
This design challenge was to create content for 'Harvest'. By incorporating the given template and assets while also putting in the work and knowledge to properly place, texture, images and type.
This design challenge was to research design by creating a list of optional typefaces for headings, subheadings and copy and putting them into effect in 3 different ways to establish diversity and option. This challenge was created for creating an Earth Day flyer on a lamp post.
This was an optional design challenge I chose to complete to practice with creating more perfectly aligned and decorative vector shapes.
